Service Description
An X-ray is a type of electromagnetic radiation, similar to light, that can pass through the body. It's used in medical imaging to create pictures of the inside of the body, particularly bones, but also soft tissues. The images are created because different body parts absorb X-rays at different rates, with denser materials like bone appearing white and softer tissues appearing in shades of gray.
