Service Description

An ultrasound is a non-invasive procedure that uses sound waves to create images of the organs and blood vessels. How it works: - A transducer is placed on the skin. - The transducer sends out high-frequency sound waves that bounce off the organs and tissues. - The sound waves return to the transducer and are processed. - A computer converts the reflected waves into an image called a sonogram. What it's used for: - Examining the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, and urinary bladder, etc. - Assessing blood flow to the organs - Detecting conditions like aneurysms, abscesses, appendicitis, gallstones, and kidney stones, etc.
