Currently, the involvement of oxidative stress as a pathological link in a number of diseases has been proven: - degenerative diseases; - inflammatory diseases; - systemic diseases; - aging , etc . Biological oxidation processes are accompanied by the formation of free radicals (atoms and molecules with an unpaired electron, which causes their high reactivity). The antioxidant protection system controls the level of free radicals and prevents their damaging effects. Oxidative stress can occur due to an imbalance between the level of formation of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species and the antioxidant defense system. Oxidative stress: It leads to oxidative damage of proteins, lipids, nucleic acids, and any other structural and functional elements.; promotes the development of various pathological conditions. This study evaluates: - the intensity of free radical processes and lipid peroxidation; - states of antioxidant protection systems; - the risk of developing various pathological processes. What is included in the study: Coenzyme Q10, CoQ10, plasma Vitamin E, alpha-Tocopherol, Serum Beta-carotene, Serum Malondialdehyde, plasma 8-OH-Deoxyguanosine.
