Iron IV Drip
Ferric carboxymaltose 300 MG
Service Description
Before prescribing iron IVs, the patient must undergo an examination: an examination by a therapist, laboratory diagnostics. It is mandatory to take a general blood test to detect or exclude anemia, and to study the levels of ferritin, transferrin, and iron. Additional examinations may be required to identify the causes of iron deficiency: gastroscopy, colonoscopy, consultations with a gynecologist, endocrinologist, etc. After making an accurate diagnosis, the doctor gives the patient a referral for a course of IVs, which indicates the number of infusions, their schedule, type and dosage of the drug.
